It's 1:45 a.m. Saturday at Area 31, and i'm just having this f**k it attitude. The ratio of men to women looked to be about 60-40. And the good looking women who were there happen to be around a group of guys. I'm not one to stir up trouble and prowl on other people's company because that's the kinda cat I am. I also don't want to go Chuck Norris on these fools and throw them over the bar.
Not much interaction was going on between me and other patrons so I decided I was gonna make a b-line towards this woman. She wasn't the prettiest woman on the rooftop and she was a little chunky, but I figured what the heck, she was ok looking and i'm just there to be friendly and have a good time.
I decided to let my friend acquaint her friend and I would acquaint her. I saw them dancing, so what I told my friend is on the count of three, we would go dance with the females. As I moved in and started dancing with this female, she fronted and dipped with her friend to the other room.
Normally I wouldn't get PO'ed about this situation, but i'm like, 'who the hell does she think she is? A Victoria Secret SuperModel.'
If I was an ugly schmuck who had a little girth and a beautiful woman wanted to talk to or dance with me, would I turn her down? HELL NO!!

Misconception
This article was gonna begin talking about how it's late in the night, and you just feel like mingling with anyone. As my writing continued, it ventured more into why I go out, so instead of talking about mingling, why I go out is what i'm going to discuss.
And it's simple.
There's this misconception that I go out to either look for someone to sleep with or "look for the love of my life." If you think that i'm always out on weekends for either of those two reasons, you are absolutely DEAD WRONG.
I work Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:30, or most of the time 8-whenever I finish, but that is neither here nor there. Anyway, I work hard every week to put out a great product for my employer through my writing and story telling abilities. So come the weekend, I reward myself with a lil bit of fun and also to see friends that I can't see during the week. That is all I go out for.
Do I like to mingle with females? Yes I do, but what man doesn't like fraternizing with females. Well, unless you're... Nevermind.
I also love going out and try to meet new people because i'm no longer in school where I can easily meet new people. I work in an office with eight people who are all older than me. The friends that I do have are always working and taking care of business, so very seldom can we get together every weekend.
I go out to simply meet and connect with new people. But in this day and age, going out simply means trying to fullfill luscious desires and soothe ego. Me on the other hand, i'm just lookin for a friend.
